About SVG Convert Lab

Independent, hands-on coverage of the tools that create and edit SVGs.

Picking an SVG converter usually means trusting a landing page: bold claims, a big upload button, and no real way to know how clean the output will be. SVG Convert Lab exists to cut through that — we actually use these tools, then write up what we find in plain language.

What we do

We cover the tools people reach for when they need to create and edit scalable vector graphics — automatic tracers, browser converters, full design suites, and desktop editors. For each one we work through the real raster-to-vector workflow, then publish reviews, head-to-head comparisons, and plain-language guides that help you choose with confidence.

How we look at a tool

Our write-ups are qualitative and hands-on. Rather than repeating a feature list, we pay attention to the things that actually affect your work:

You won't find invented scores, star ratings, or leaderboard numbers here. When we name a pick, it's an editorial judgment we explain in words — not a figure dressed up to look objective.

Staying honest

Coverage is independent. Some outbound links to tools are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you sign up after following one — at no extra cost to you. That never changes what we recommend or how we describe a tool. When a product is the better fit, we say so; when it isn't, we say that too.
